The Power of One

Most people can trace their faith back to a name.

Not a program. Not a sermon. A person.

Think about your own story.

Someone spoke to you. Someone invited you. Someone prayed for you. Someone was patient when you had questions or doubts.

God often works this way. Quietly. Personally. One life touching another life.

Jesus Himself worked this way. He invested deeply in a handful of people. Through them the message spread across cities, nations, and generations.

God rarely asks us to reach everyone. But He does place people in our lives for a reason.

Your kindness might be the first glimpse someone has of God’s character. Your patience may show them what grace looks like. Your simple words, “I’ve been praying for you,” may open a door that changes everything.

The mission of God is not distant or abstract. It is deeply personal.

God reaches people through people. And often it begins with just one.

One conversation. One invitation. One quiet act of love.

So pause for a moment and ask: Who is the one person God may be placing on your heart?

Someone else’s story with God may begin with a simple step of faith from you.

Read: Ephesians 4:4-6

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Reflect: Who was the person God used to reach you, and how might He want to use you in someone else’s story?
